What's A Rubber Duck Race?

On September 25, 2016, the Beez Foundation will be at the center of the Raritan River Festival. At race time, up to 5,000 adorable little yellow rubber ducks will be dropped into the Delaware and Raritan Canal and race past our pavilion to the finish line. Each duck has a number on it. If the number on one of the first three ducks across the finish line matches the number on your Adoption Ticket, you win!

You can adopt ducks by clicking here. If you're new to the Duck Race, you can sign up for a new account and optionally join or organize a team, which is a great way to get your friends, coworkers and family members involved. Compete against other teams to be the King Duck! If you're a Duck Race veteran, you can use the same username and password from last year to login and start adopting right away. Please note, if you join a team, your membership in that team is subject to approval by the team's administrator. Until approval is given, your duck totals will be applied to the "Everything Else" team. Once you're approved, you'll receive an email confirmation from the address "no-reply@rubberduckrace.org" and your info will move to the team you joined. The Beez Foundation has no control over the administration of teams. It's entirely up to the team's administrator. If you have any problems, please send an email to Team Dispute and we will try to resolve it.

We've streamlined the ordering process since last year, so now adopting ducks is only a few clicks away!

After you place and pay for your order, you will receive an email from the address "no-reply@rubberduckrace.org" with your duck adoption numbers. Sometimes, these get filtered as spam, so if you don't get your numbers within an hour of ordering, check your spam folder. You can also add "no-reply@rubberduckrace.org" to your address book.

We'll also be at various Street Fairs, as well as at Somerset Patriots Sunday home games. We’ll also be selling adoptions at the Raritan River Festival itself throughout Boyd Park on Race Day.

The Beez Foundation Rubber Duck Race - is again this year’s featured event at the Raritan River Festival which will be held at Boyd Park in New Brunswick on September 25, 2016 from 12 noon to 6 pm. The festival draws thousands of people every year.  It’s been the pre-eminent environmental and entertainment festival in New Jersey for over 30 years.

On Festival day, bring the whole family for rides, games, live music and food and drink.  Admission is free and includes The Beez Foundation’s Duckland™, which is a special place where kids can go and have fun playing games, doing art and just having fun. Every duck adoption gets you 5 Duck Bills, which are the “money” in Duckland.

Click "Duck Race Rules" in the right navigation bar for rules and regulations.
